What we show publicly
The Airman roster shows callsigns only — never real names, personal emails, or sensitive details tied to an individual pilot. The public homepage displays aggregate wing statistics (member totals, combined flight hours), not private rosters.
What we collect at registration
Real names, Discord handles, and email addresses are collected strictly for administrative identity verification and Discord onboarding. They are never published or sold, and remain restricted to Staff-level command accounts.
Your rights & control
Under GDPR and international privacy principles, you may request an export, modification, or complete deletion (right to be forgotten) of your stored account data at any time by notifying wing staff on Discord.
Flight Telemetry & Server Logs
When connecting to official Garuda Virtual Air Wing dedicated DCS World servers, automated bot systems (such as DCSServerBot) record in-game telemetry including aircraft type, sortie duration, landing grades, and mission events to maintain leaderboards and pilot logbooks. These records are tied solely to your public pilot callsign and DCS UCID.
Data Retention & Security
Account records and server logs are stored securely in protected databases with role-based access control. Inactive applicant records that are not approved or verified are purged after 90 days. Active member records are retained for the duration of wing membership.
